Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with 5+ years of hands-on experience in leading Agile projects and enabling high-performing cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile and Scrum principles, excellent facilitation skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement. Prior experience or exposure to the Finance domain will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a servant leader and coach for Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and best practices
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
Partner closely with Product Owners to ensure a well-groomed and prioritized product backlog
Remove impediments and proactively address risks and dependencies impacting team delivery
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and transparency within the team
Track and communicate Agile metrics such as velocity, sprint progress, and release forecasts to stakeholders
Support teams in improving estimation, planning, and delivery predictability
Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology to align delivery with business objectives
Mentor team members on Agile mindset and ways of working
Support scaling Agile practices across multiple teams where required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master leading Agile/Scrum teams
Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and Agile principles
Proven experience in facilitating Scrum ceremonies and coaching teams
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Experience working with cross-functional teams including development, QA, and product
Ability to manage conflicts, drive consensus, and enable effective decision-making
Preferred / Added Advantages
- Prior experience or strong understanding of the Finance domain (Banking, Lending, Payments, FinTech, etc.)
Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I/II, SAFe Scrum Master)
Experience working in scaled Agile environments (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus)
