Job Description

The Senior Technical Product Manager – CPQ will be a strategic and hands-on leader within Trantor’s Go-to-Market Systems team. This role owns the planning, execution, and integration of enterprise applications including Salesforce CPQ, Subscription & Billing, Sales Cloud, and related GTM systems. You will partner with business and engineering teams to translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions, while driving roadmap execution and operational excellence.


Job Role & Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve Salesforce CPQ, Subscription & Billing, marketing, and customer service systems
  • Lead discovery and analysis sessions for Quote-to-Cash, Lead-to-Cash, CPQ, and Asset Lifecycle Management use cases
  • Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Drive backlog grooming, sprint planning, prioritization, and release management in Jira
  • Act as a subject-matter expert in Salesforce CPQ and Sales Cloud, guiding solution design and trade-offs
  • Facilitate design, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of Salesforce CPQ and

declarative platform features

Partner with business leaders to define and maintain a robust enterprise application roadmap

  • Break strategic roadmap initiatives into execution-ready delivery plans
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and engineering teams across US and offshore locations
  • Provide production support for Salesforce CPQ & Billing, including issue resolution and enhancements
  • Contribute to large-scale strategic initiatives within the Quote-to-Cash ecosystem
  • Lead design, development, and delivery of Salesforce platform enhancements and releases
  • Define and enforce standards, quality metrics, and governance for application delivery
  • Ensure projects meet expectations for scope, quality, timeline, and cost
  • Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement

Professional Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven success delivering complex, mission-critical enterprise systems into production
  • Experience supporting applications optimized for cloud and virtualized environments
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, technical design, and SDLC practices

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years of IT experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or equivalent
  • 3+ years as a Product Manager / Business Analyst supporting Salesforce CPQ
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce ecosystem: CPQ, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, FSL, Community Cloud, AppExchange
  • Strong expertise in SaaS and CPQ domains:
  • Product setup & configuration
  • Pricing & quoting
  • Subscriptions, amendments, renewals
  • Billing & revenue recognition
  • Experience managing large-scale application delivery using Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies
  • Strong ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage competing initiatives
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to translate technical complexity into business-friendly language
  • Strong ownership mindset with passion for both business and technology innovation

Preferred Skills & Certifications

  • Project Management experience
  • Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification (highly preferred)
  • Salesforce Admin (201) and Sales Cloud Consultant Certification preferred
