Job Overview

Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications using the Microsoft .NET ecosystem. Requires strong programming fundamentals, experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, and modern development practices.

Key Responsibilities 

Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core
Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with external systems
Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices
Work with SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning)
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting production issues
Develop unit tests and support automation of testing
Work within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver features on time
Integrate applications with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions/Jenkins)
Document technical specifications and maintain system architecture knowledge

Mandatory Skills

Strong knowledge of C# and .NET/.NET Core
Hands-on experience with ASP.NET MVC or ASP.NET Core Web API
Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns
Experience with relational databases (SQL Server preferred)
Proficiency with Entity Framework / EF Core
Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and web services
Knowledge of Git-based version control
Ability to write unit tests using MSTest/NUnit/xUnit

Optional / Good-to-Have Skills
Azure cloud services (App Service, Functions, Storage, Key Vault)
Microservices architecture
Message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus)
