Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our Intelligent Automation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying automation opportunities, guiding stakeholders through process improvements, and supporting the delivery of high-value automation solutions. You will work closely with customers, technical teams, and leadership to drive automation adoption and maximize business impact.
Key Responsibilities
● Process Discovery & Analysis:
Lead process discovery initiatives using data-driven approaches to map and analyze business workflows across applications and systems. Extract insights from workflows and document the as-is and to-be processes.
● Requirement Gathering:
Engage with business stakeholders to understand, capture, and validate functional and non-functional requirements. Facilitate workshops and interviews to define clear business needs for automation or process improvement.
● Process Documentation:
Prepare comprehensive process documentation (e.g., Process Definition Documents, flow maps, decision trees) that capture current state, process variations, exceptions, and recommended optimizations.
● Guide & Educate Customers:
Act as a trusted advisor for clients and internal teams, guiding them through process improvements, automation potential, and implementation readiness. Provide insights into opportunities and ROI from automation.
● Upselling & Opportunity Identification:
Recognize additional opportunities for automation or process optimization and collaborate with sales and delivery teams to articulate value propositions and support upselling of automation solutions.
● Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with automation developers, architects, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure process insights translate into scalable automation solutions.
● Quality & Outcome Tracking:
Support tracking of automation outcomes and performance against business KPIs. Provide post-delivery feedback to continuously improve process discovery practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience as a business analyst, process analyst, or similar role (ideally in automation, digital transformation, or operations).
Strong ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical and process documentation.
Excellent process mapping and analysis skills with an eye for detail.
Experience guiding customers and stakeholders through process improvements and technical solutions.
Demonstrated ability to upsell or identify value-adding opportunities within client
engagements.
Outstanding communication and facilitation skills (verbal and written).
Comfortable working with non-technical and technical audiences.
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Experience
Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) or Intelligent Automation tools/platforms such as Automation Anywhere, UiPath, or similar.
Familiarity with process mining/discovery techniques and tools.
Experience preparing ROI justifications or business cases for automation projects.
