Job Overview
BI Developer with 6+ years of experience specializing in Domo, SQL, and Snowflake, responsible for designing and delivering scalable BI solutions. The role involves building interactive dashboards, managing ETL processes, and integrating multiple data sources to enable data-driven decision-making. Strong focus on optimizing SQL queries and Snowflake performance to ensure efficient data processing and reporting. Collaborates with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable insights while maintaining data accuracy and governance. Works in an agile environment to continuously enhance reporting capabilities and automate data workflows.

Roles & Responsibilities / Mandatory Skills

1. Domo Expertise

• Experience in developing and managing dashboards and reports in Domo.
• Proficiency in using Domo’s ETL tools such as Magic ETL, SQL DataFlows, and MySQL DataFlows.
• Strong knowledge of Domo Cards, Domo Apps, and Beast Mode calculations.
• Understanding of Domo Workbench for data extraction and transformation.
• Experience in integrating various data sources into Domo (APIs, databases, cloud storage, etc.).

 
2. SQL Proficiency

• Strong expertise in writing optimized SQL queries for data transformation and reporting.
• Experience in handling complex joins, window functions, and stored procedures.
• Ability to create and manage database schemas, tables, and indexes for efficient querying.
• Understanding of performance tuning and query optimization techniques.

 
3. Snowflake Knowledge

• Experience in working with Snowflake as a data warehouse.
• Writing efficient Snowflake queries and connecting Snowflake to Domo.

 
4. Data Modeling & ETL

• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts such as star schema and snowflake schema.
• Experience in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and best practices in BI development.

 
5. Dashboard Development & Reporting

• Creating interactive and visually appealing dashboards in Domo.
• Ability to work with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Expertise in Domo Analyzer for building and optimizing data visualizations.
