Job Description:
In this role, the Senior EDI Analyst will be a key contributor to developing and delivering electronic data interchange (EDI) solutions for a leading nutrition company that offers consumer brands and ingredients for sports, health, and lifestyle. The analyst will work independently on assigned change requests, utilizing their expertise in Gentran mapping to optimize data exchange processes.

Job Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement EDI solutions using Gentran mapping to meet business requirements and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for EDI processes.
  • Manage day-to-day EDI operations, including setup, testing, and troubleshooting of transactions to ensure accurate data exchange.
  • Monitor system performance and propose enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide training and support to users to maximize the utilization of EDI systems.
  • Work closely with IT teams to ensure timely delivery of projects and adherence to best practices.

 

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years of Experience with Gentran mapping and EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, or XML.
  • Proficiency in IBM Sterling integration tools and technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with SAP integration processes and technologies.
  • Experience with project management methodologies like Agile or Scrum.
  • Understanding of supply chain processes and logistics operations.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
