Job Description:

In this role, the EDI Lead will oversee and guide a support project focused on electronic data interchange (EDI) operations, leveraging IBM Sterling integration within a leading nutrition company that offers consumer brands and ingredients for sports, health, and lifestyle. The lead will ensure efficient data exchange processes, manage a team of support professionals, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the EDI support team to ensure timely resolution of issues and seamless data exchange.
  • Oversee daily checks and maintenance of EDI systems using IBM Sterling integration to ensure optimal performance.
  • Investigate and resolve complex EDI transaction failures, providing guidance and support to the team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement enhancements to EDI processes.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for EDI processes and system performance.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

 

Minimum Skills

  • 7+ years of experience with Gentran mapping and EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, or XML.
  • Experience in IBM Sterling integration
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with SAP integration processes and technologies.
  • Experience with project management methodologies like Agile or Scrum.
  • Understanding of supply chain processes and logistics operations.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
