Job Description
The Senior Salesforce Sales Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing, architecting, and delivering scalable Salesforce Sales Cloud solutions aligned with business needs and Salesforce best practices. This role requires deep expertise in Sales Cloud, CPQ (SteelBrick), Lightning Framework, and strong leadership capabilities to guide development teams and stakeholders.
Job Role & Responsibilities
- Design scalable and efficient Salesforce Sales Cloud solutions aligned with business requirements and best practices
- Lead technical design and implementation of Sales Cloud features, including CPQ (SteelBrick), Partner Portal, Lead, Opportunity, Quote Management
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams; review and approve designs, code, and configurations
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Oversee development of custom Salesforce applications including custom objects, workflows, triggers, Apex, and LWC
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across the Salesforce platform
- Define and enforce Salesforce development standards, governance, and best practices
- Monitor and optimize Salesforce performance, addressing scalability and efficiency issues
- Stay current with Salesforce releases and recommend innovative platform enhancements
- Document architecture, design decisions, and code throughout the development lifecycle
- Diagnose, resolve, and document system issues during development and post-deployment
- Perform post-migration system reviews and provide ongoing production support
- Prepare and deliver technical demos and presentations to client stakeholders
- Adhere to best practices for source control, ticket tracking, and deployment processes
- Support research and analysis related to maintenance and enhancement activities
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 6+ years of experience architecting and designing full-stack solutions on the Salesforce platform
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ (SteelBrick CPQ) and Billing
- 3+ years of Lightning Framework development (Aura & LWC)
- CPQ Specialist Certification and Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification (mandatory)
- Strong expertise in Apex, Triggers, Visualforce, Lightning, Batch Apex, Platform Events, SOQL,
- Salesforce APIs
- Experience debugging APEX CPU timeouts, SOQL exceptions, and refactoring complex implementations
- Deep understanding of Salesforce governor limits, coding standards, and design guidelines
- Experience with Salesforce DX, Apex Enterprise Patterns, Apex Mocks, and asynchronous processing
Required Technical Skills
- Development tools: Visual Studio Code, Git, and DevOps / CI-CD pipelines
- Integration architecture and third-party tools such as MuleSoft, Informatica, Boomi, Workato, etc.
- Experience with Agile development, iterative delivery, and Proof of Concepts (POCs)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead technical initiatives and manage multiple priorities
