Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Workday Functional Consultant to support and enhance key Workday modules including Total Rewards, Talent, Core HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, and Benefits. The ideal candidate will have strong configuration expertise, experience in Workday Security and Reporting, and the ability to partner with business stakeholders to translate HR needs into effective system solutions.
This role will also involve optimizing business processes, automating manual tasks, and maintaining documentation to support operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Workday Configuration & Support

  • Configure and support core Workday modules including Total Rewards (Advanced Compensation, Compensation), Talent, Core HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, and Benefits.
    Manage configuration updates, system enhancements, and ongoing system support.
    Configure and manage Advanced Compensation cycles, including merit increases and promotions.

Security & Reporting

  • Configure and maintain Workday security roles, domains, and permissions.
    Develop and maintain Workday reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.

Business Process Optimization

  • Analyze existing Workday Business Processes (BPs) and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
    Implement solutions to automate manual processes and reduce operational overhead.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and design system solutions.
    Translate business needs and operational gaps into technical Workday configurations.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

  • Document system configurations, workflows, and operational processes.
    Maintain process documentation in the organization’s knowledge base.

ATS Integration (Nice to Have)

  • Support configuration or integration of ATS platforms such as Greenhouse with Workday where applicable.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with global teams and colleagues across different time zones to ensure smooth delivery of projects and system updates.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience supporting at least 2–3 core Workday modules, including:

Total Rewards (Advanced Compensation, Compensation)

Talent

Core HCM

Payroll

Time Tracking

Absence

Benefits

Strong experience in Workday configuration.
Experience configuring Workday Security.
Strong experience in Workday reporting.
Experience implementing Advanced Compensation cycles for merit and promotion planning.
Ability to analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
Experience translating business requirements into system configurations.
Strong documentation and process mapping skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teams.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience configuring or supporting ATS tools such as Greenhouse.
    Experience working in global HRIS environments.
    Experience improving Workday business processes and automation initiatives.
