The client is a healthcare technology provider for empowering and connecting doctors and patients. Their secure, cloud-based software uses a patented algorithm to dive deep into patient experiences to provide robust and streamlined follow-up care, increasing patient safety and satisfaction while improving business performance.

The client is a healthcare technology provider for empowering and connecting doctors and patients. Their secure, cloud-based software uses a patented algorithm to dive deep into patient experiences to provide robust and streamlined follow-up care, increasing patient safety and satisfaction while improving business performance. The client wanted to develop a secure, web-based service that automates “conversations” with eye care patients. They wanted to understand their client’s needs, desires, and background history and to deliver educational content customized to the patient’s conditions and the offerings of the medical practice.

Challenges

The client needed to build a HIPAA-compliant system that integrates with EHR System (Electronic Health Care) to secure communication in the healthcare industry. The client was looking for an AWS partner with deep Security and compliance advisory and assessment experience to help them analyze its current applications and cloud infrastructure and set up a security operations team for ongoing support.

Our Solution

For this engagement, Trantor Inc. provided the following solutions:

  • Trantor created an Integration app that will act as a bridge between EHR systems and the web application. Secured communication by implementing Secure Socket Layer and best-in-class security provided by Microsoft Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
  • Database which can cater to a CMS and save the dynamically generated questions and their type. The response has to be held for these questions; later on, reports will be developed from it.
  • Web application to ask questions based on previously answered questions with great flexibility.
  • Admin section for non-technical users to provide configuration to customize the system per the practice’s need.
